Welcome to Inlet Beach
Inlet Beach is the epitome of a beach lover’s paradise and one of the fastest-growing beach communities in South Walton. Located at the very east end of 30A and bordering Camp Helen State Park, Inlet Beach features South Walton’s largest regional beach access where all you need is a beach chair, sunscreen, and a good book for the perfect day of relaxation.
Exuding an Old Florida vibe, Inlet Beach is a carefree beach community that combines cozy beach cottages with modern accommodations, new restaurants, and high-end shopping like the local boutiques and specialty shops found at 30 Avenue. Other local favorites include Cuvee 30A, The Donut Hole, amici 30A Italian Kitchen, and Shades Bar & Grill an elevated sports bar that also serves as the local watering hole.
Inlet Beach was once known as Soldiers Beach named after World War II vets who purchased land in this area through a government homestead program. However, the name Inlet Beach was later coined after Phillips Inlet on Lake Powell a rare coastal dune located in the 13 acres of protected land surrounding this quiet beach community. Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in Florida, is the perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts seeking to spend time fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply relaxing among the dunes and bird watching.
