Welcome to Rosemary Beach
Featuring architectural influences from the West Indies, New Orleans, Charleston, St. Augustine, and many others, Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional beach community combined with New Urbanism that places everything within a short walk of a bustling town center complete with award-winning shops, restaurants, and events. Established in 1995, its name comes from the local Rosemary plants that grow among the sand dunes and along the trails throughout the community.
Located on the east end of 30A between Inlet Beach and Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach is a beautiful and lively beach community named one of “America’s Most Romantic Small Towns” by CNN which is no surprise to those who have wandered its winding paths and cobblestone streets or dined al fresco in of the many welcoming patios and courtyards.
Rosemary Beach is most recognized for its artfully crafted brick-lined sidewalks and cobblestone-paved Main Street and a town square, known as Barrett Square, that welcomes guests and residents to locally owned shops, boutiques, and restaurants. The expansive greens throughout the community also welcome guests and residents alike with public art, a weekly farmer’s market, and special events throughout the year.
Homes in Rosemary Beach echo the architectural beauty of this master-planned community with many featuring high ceilings and large gathering spaces including outdoor courtyards with fountains and garden-view wrap-around porches that extend living spaces to the open-air seamlessly. Opulent color palettes of landscaping and decor balance the neutral tones of sustainable building materials used throughout the community including wood siding, stucco construction, and cedar shingles.
